The Great War Society is the oldest First World War living history society in the UK having been formed in 1984. They will be returning to Queen Street Mill to display and present the uniforms, equipment, weaponry and rations of a Great War soldier. You are welcome to drop-in and meet the crew between 11am and 4pm, or come and listen to a fascinating presentation at the following times: 11am - Dressing the Tommy (the uniform and equipment of the Great War soldier) 12pm - Rations 2pm - The Evolution of Anti Gas Equipment 3pm - Weapons of the Great War Infantryman
