Have you been enjoying the ‘Let’s Make’ sessions at Blackburn and Darwen Markets this summer? If so, we’ve got great news for you!
Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, in collaboration with Crafty Vintage, are planning a spectacular finale to the summer holiday events programme with a free family fun day on Saturday 31st August.
Hosted at the brand new Darwen Market Square, there’ll be everything from magic shows to a silent disco, Magical Story Jars, face painting, entertainment provided by Darwen School of Music and performances from a local singer and dance groups.
Youngsters will be able to create their own masterpieces with craft sessions By Erin or they can take a turn on the potter’s wheel.
And, if that’s not enough, there’ll be a street dance workshop to learn some new moves!
Laura Johnson, Owner of Crafty Vintage said: “I’m really looking forward to Let’s Make at Market Square. The Let’s Make holiday programme is going so well that we wanted to create a fitting finish, focussing on sharing and learning new skills whilst having lots of fun."
The activities run will between 11am and 4pm in Darwen Market and on the Market Square.

Darwen Market Square is located at the heart of the town centre, just off the A666 and is easily accessible for pedestrians, cars, bike, bus and train.
