Have you thought about setting up your own creative business but don't know where to start?
Whether your venture will be a part-time creative outlet, or a full-time job to 'bring home the bacon', The Making Rooms can help you get over that intimidating first hurdle; making a start.
In this Make-A-Start workshops we will be showing you how to create and sell laser cut products, using laser cut jewellery as a basis for learning the craft.
On top of the workshop itself we will provide you with additional free machine hire that you can use at a later date for the laser cutter, to practice your new craft, and some material to make use of too! You will really get a feel for how businesses use our facilities.
If you’re looking for a new adventure or want to learn a new craft for your business, this workshop is for you.

Product design (design software and ideas generation)
How to use a laser cutter
What sells well
Where is best to sell

The session will begin at 10:00 sharp (please arrive on time - or earlier!) booking on Eventbrite will allow you to attend this workshop.
