With tables available in two of the stunning rooms, you can choose from the beautiful oak panelled Billiard Room with its warm and cosy open fire or for an extra special treat, dine in the splendour of the magnificent Banqueting Hall, where King James I feasted in 1617 and famously knighted a loin of beef.  Whatever you choose, you can be sure of a warm welcome as you enjoy Lancashire’s finest afternoon tea
