The seventh edition of the National Festival of Making will return to Blackburn.
The National Festival of Making is a unique celebration of UK making, from the kitchen table to the factory floor. Presenting a programme of work that combines art, manufacturing, making and communities, commissioning international and national artists to create world class works, a year round programme and a participatory free family festival for all to enjoy.

Blackburn can be reached by the M65 via the M6 or M61. If you are travelling from Preston, Blackburn can be reached on the A677, from Bolton on the A666 and from Chorley on the A674.
Blackburn is easy to access from the A59 or M65 motorway. There are a range of car parks within the town centre.
Within 5 minutes walk of the rail and bus station. There are good public transport links to all surrounding towns abd cities.
