It is only fitting that our very own Bowland Brewery is the very first Brewery to head up our Octo-beer-fest month long celebration of beer, with their Mini Tap Takeover Event.
You may already be familiar with the Bowland Brewery Ales Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which are brewed right here beneath the chimney at Holmes Mill – just behind our famous Beer Hall.
Bowland Brewery started life as a microbrewery on the edge of the Forest of Bowland, making a selection of beers named after the scenery and wildlife of this picturesque corner of Lancashire.
Beers like Hen Harrier, Boxer Blonde and Pheasant Plucker have quickly established themselves among local ale aficionados – earning the brewery a whole host of prestigious awards.
As the reputation of Bowland Brewery cask and bottled beers spreads, increasing demand from further afield required a relocation to larger premises here at Holmes Mill, where visitors are welcome to tour the brewery and sample their ales in the fabulous surroundings of the Bowland Beer Hall.
Pop along to hear more from the dedicated Bowland Team & enjoy some beer tasters on Thursday the 3rd of October.
This event will be taking place at the back of Bowland Beer Hall where the glass window gives a fascinating insight into the Brewery itself. We'll see you at the bar!
