Stories and Songs from England to Canada | Maxwell and Cavanagh - Bolton-le-sands Library

In 2024 two award winning songwriters, Lawrence Maxwell of Prince Edward Island, Canada, and Robbie Cavanagh of Manchester, England, were paired together for a transatlantic collaboration of self penned songs and stories. Within six hours of meeting they'd written three songs and eaten a lobster roll... it was the beginning of a winning partnership and this tour showcases the results.

Maxwell and Cavanagh, two rising stars of Country and Americana music both shine on stage with their top shelf songwriting, alongside their upbeat, dry humour and gripping tales from their lives on the road, showcasing the similarities and differences between the life of a rural east coast Canadian and a British City boy.
