Join us on the weekend of 26th and 27th March for the re-opening of Turton Tower for the Summer 2022 season.
Day 1 – Saturday 26th March – we have Silver School of Arms giving sword fencing displays and handling, The Military Vehicle Trust will be attending with their vintage vehicles, Mark Patterson, ex Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers football star will be talking about his new book, Old School: a proper football education and lots more family fun on the day.
Day 2 – Sunday 27th March – we have Regency Re-Jigged performing elegant Regency Dancing in the court yard, Grumpy Old Men will be singing our favourite songs by the picnic area, Peter Farley, one of our long standing volunteers will be telling some ghost stories and talking about his book Mysterious Tales of the Tower, and lots more family fun activities on the day.
The Tower gift shop will be open with lots of locally handmade crafts and gifts and The Woodland Cafe will be serving delicious drinks and refreshments. A day out not to be missed. Open: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Outdoor events are FREE and regular admission charges apply to indoor activities. Adults – £6, Concessions – £5, Children – Free (must be accompanied)
