We’re inviting you to join us for a brand-new event, 24 and 25 May 2025. Unite with like-minded music lovers and celebrate the iconic and timeless tunes of yesteryear, the music that shaped countless generations and influenced everything we know today. From the frenetic energy of Northern Soul to the vibrant energy of 1970s pop, this festival will be the largest live music event the ELR has ever held.
We’ll be taking over not only Bury Station and The Trackside Pub, but also the Car Park where you’ll find the main stage and our headline acts. Other smaller stages and acts will also be dotted around the railway so there’s always something going on, and mini bars and stalls will be easily available to ensure that you can keep your groove on throughout the weekend!
Not only that, our partners at So Retro are bringing a fantastic Vintage Fair, perfect if you’re looking to mark the occasion by picking up a vintage vinyl or express yourself with a classic band T-Shirt, its music, fashion, homeware and nostalgia, all in one spot.
To mark this momentous occasion, we are thrilled to announce that legendary music producer, songwriter and passionate railway enthusiast Pete Waterman will be officially opening our event on Saturday 24 May!
With an illustrious career in the music industry, Pete Waterman has played a pivotal role in shaping pop music, producing countless hits and launching some of the biggest names in the business. But beyond the charts, he is equally renowned for his deep passion for railways – a lifelong interest that has seen him involved in heritage railway projects and locomotive presentation.
Don’t miss this incredible opportunity, whether your a music fan, a railway enthusiast, or simply looking for a fantastic day out. Mark your calendars and spread the word!
Check out the line-up below, and watch this space. This event is going to be huge, and we’ll be adding to the list as and when we get more info!
