The Wars among Brothers Living History event focuses on The American War of Independence, in this its 250th anniversery year, and the English Civil War.
The Hall has a marked historical link with the English Civil War. Both wars featured division amongst families, with brothers often found fighting on both sides. These where times of great upheaval for both countries, sparked by strong views and beliefs, that changed society in ways that are still refected today. Great for history buffs and a fabulous way to get children interested and engaged in history.
There will be living history displays, stalls, cafe and bar.
Free entry and parking.
