The Waterfoot Wakes Parade Day is back. And it's getting elemental.
Join in as the parade travels through the streets of Waterfoot for another year. This year's parade theme is the four elements, so expect to see an inferno of bands, flocks of birds flying through the air, grounding mother earth and creatures from the watery depths.
The parade starts at Edgeside Park from 12:00. The route will cover Park Lane, Booth Road, Burnley Road East, before finishing at the Waterfoot Play Park (behind The Old Library Cafe). So line the streets, wave your flags, even make something of your own and join.
Following the parade, there will be performances from various groups happening at Waterfoot Play Park from 13:00 – 16:00, alongside lots more activities happening up at Horse + Bamboo:
