Take a trip around the reserve at your leisure to guess the sounds along the way. Winter is full of wild sounds, so wrap up warm and download the trail to your smartphone for a paper free experience.
Use the code via the web link to access and download the trail. Do download before you come along just in case reception is reduced. Once on your phone you will have a map with points to walk towards once at each point you can click on the sound (8 sounds in total) then scroll down to answer a multiple-choice question to find out the answer. Please note the QR code for the trail is also available on the reserve's notice board. Park in the car park and start at either of the start points on the Wild Winter Walk activity sheet.
Why not visit www.lancswt.org.uk/events to combine your visit with either Wild Winter Walk Activity, the Santa's Post Box or Festive Family Weaving event at the reserve to.
Please note:
This session takes place in an outdoor location on the reserve and around the reserve so we advise bringing suitable outdoor clothing and foot wear for the weather conditions. Supervision of children is required at all times. Follow guidance once on site and please keep to the paths. Unfortunately, the larger gates on the reserve at the start and end of any trail will be locked, so access is only available through the kissing gates. Thank you.
