Witches and Wizards Day

Sign up for the Witches and Wizards Academy and join in with other activities taking place throughout the day.  Join in to share all things magical and practice your spell casting with fellow witches and wizards!

The academy takes place at Judges Lodgings.  The are various activities throughout the day and you will have chance to practise your spell casting, meet dragons, have your photos taken, have a 'tattoo', do a Witch Quest around the city. 

There will be fairground rides and a delicious Cauldron Cake, made especially for the event by Russell’s Celebration Cakes in Lancaster.

So arrive in fancy dress and show off your best magical togs but no turning anyone into frogs!

Road Directions

Morecambe, Lancaster and the Lune Valley is located in Lancashire, in the Northwest of England. Exit the M6 Motorway at Junction 34 and follow signs for Lancaster. Join the one way system (Caton Road) and pass small retail park on left on approach to traffic lights. Turn left following signs for Lancaster City Centre.

The nearest railway station is Lancaster which is only a 5 minute walk from Lancaster Visitor Information Centre, just outside the city centre. The station is on the West Coast Mainline with regular mainline Virgin services to London & South and Glasgow & North. Local services include a regular service to Morecambe. The nearest bus station is Lancaster which is less than a 5 minute walk from the central pedestrianised shopping areas of St Nicholas' Arcade and Marketgate.
