For brides looking for an unusual, but spectacular wedding venue in Lancashire, Leighton Hall is a fairy tale choice. With towers, turrets and 80 acres of beautiful grounds, it's the kind of romantic location brides dream of. Perhaps most importantly, when you choose Leighton Hall as your wedding venue, the house and gardens are yours exclusively for the day.
Your wedding car will set you down, right outside the magnificent entrance hall and there is plenty of parking for your guests. There’s even a helipad, should you wish to arrive in aerial style! Brides can make the grandest of entrances with a red carpet welcome.
Leighton Hall pride themselves on not doing 'production line' jobs – the house and gardens are yours exclusively, with experienced staff on hand to make sure the day runs perfectly for your family and friends. You can build personal packages and priced accordingly, once Leighton Hall have fully understood what you would like as part of your day.
Photographs are an important element of any wedding. Leighton's amazing setting guarantees beautiful prints. The 19th century walled garden, the rose lawn or even a view across the parkland from the gate are all stunning backdrops for wedding pictures. Inside, the sweeping staircase or magnificent reception rooms are available if the weather is unkind.
The co-ordination of weddings is the special responsibility of Leighton's owner, Suzie Reynolds. As well as ensuring the reception runs smoothly, Suzie can also help brides-to-be and their families with menus, flowers, transport, photographs and even seating arrangements. She has been an enthusiastic, experienced and welcome support for brides and their families for more than 25 years.
Catering and bars are provided by the Hall's in-house caterer, Karen Rhodes Catering, who have a wide and wonderful choice of mouth-watering meals and buffet menus.
Leighton is a beautiful historic house, nestling in a bowl of parkland and set against the spectacular backdrop of the Lakeland Fells. The location, together with the gardens, gives an instant 'wow' factor for you and your guests and stunning settings for pictures. They host weddings there all year round, and in the winter, open fires and candlelight lend a special magic.
