314 reviewsSituated in the picturesque village of Silverdale, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Gibraltar Farm is a traditional family run working farm, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and panoramic views of Morecambe Bay.
The campsite comprises areas of ancient woodland and open grassland and was voted (by The Daily Telegraph) the best coastal campsite in the Northwest.
The caravan field offers well spaced hard-standing and grass pitches with electric hookup. A family orientated caravan and campsite that boasts a modern and well maintained toilet and shower block. Luxury Homemade Ice Cream is sold on-site at our kiosk during summer weekends and Bank Holidays with lots of delicious flavours to try! Watch out shortly for a new raw milk vending machine!
Gibraltar Farm is short drive to the English Lake District, the seaside resort of Morecambe and the historic city of Lancaster.
Situated less than a mile from Leighton Moss RSPB Nature Reserve, National Trust and Gait Barrows National Nature Reserves.
Silverdale Village Centre is a short walk from the site, offering a pub, coop, local butcher, pharmacy, newsagent and a Post Office. The locality provides something for everyone.

Exit M6 at Junction 35
Take third exit (northbound) or first exit (southbound) at roundabout
(signed Kirby Lonsdale / Over Kellet / Quarries)
At T junction turn right toward Carnforth
Straight on at Carnforth traffic lights
Under railway bridge and over hump backed bridge
Turn sharp left into Sand Lane, signposted Silverdale
Follow road for a couple of miles, over another hump backed bridge
and then a level crossing
Turn left at T junction signposted Gibraltar Farm
Turn next left onto Hollins Lane
Gibraltar Farm is at the end of Hollins Lane
Less than 1 mile from Silverdale Railway Station. Turn left out of the station and walk past Silverdale Golf Club continuing uphill, after half a mile turn left onto Hollins Lane. The entrance to the camp-site is just past Wolfhouse Tea Rooms.
