Pine Lake Resort

Relax, unwind and take in the great outdoors while taking a stroll on the paths alongside the shores of Pine Lake. Named after the lake in Carnforth, Lancashire, Pine Lake Resort is the perfect getaway to see and take in the British countryside and historic Carnforth.

These unique Scandinavian-style Lodges lie in a tranquil location which allows you to switch off and relax. Each 2-bedroom lodge or studio comes with a fully-equipped kitchen and some have lake views. A flat-screen TV and a DVD player are all included, Free Wi-Fi available throughout the resort.

A full range of water sports including water skiing, sailing and canoeing are available to you on your doorstep, along with leisure facilities, spa, tennis court, crazy golf, play area plus walks and pathways throughout the resort, you will find so much to do without ever stepping foot off the property.  Additional charges may apply.

Tuck into a meal at the on-site restaurant where they have something to offer for even the pickiest of diners.

Why not venture into Carnforth and indulge in one of the many local independent shops. Visit Carnforth Station Heritage Centre and the Brief Encounter Refreshment Room and see the famous clock which features in the 1940s film! Away from the resort, the glorious scenery of the nearby Lune Valley and Lake District is waiting to be explored. The Yorkshire Dales can also be reached in 30 minutes’ drive.

Road Directions

Airport name: Manchester. Directions to resort: Exit airport and join the M56. Branch off after approximately four miles onto the M60 and follow directions for Preston. At Junction 11, branch off and join M61, signposted Preston. After approximately 36 miles from the airport, join M6 North. Continue on the M6 North for approximately 29 miles and exit at Junction 35. Take the first left at roundabout signposted Carnforth. Travel approximately 1/2 mile on the dual carriageway until you reach the roundabout, where you'll find Pine Lake to your right. Upon entering the grounds, turn right for reception. Distance to resort 107 km.

Public Transport Directions

Alternate Directions Public transport to resort Train - Nearest station Lancaster, change for Carnforth Coach/bus - Lancaster bus station and then take the 555 bus service to Carnforth Taxi - Taxi rank at Lancaster Station but not at carnforth.
