Experience luxury at Ream Hills, winners of the 2018 and 2019 Lancashire Tourism Award for Holiday Village. The unique glamping collection includes the extraordinary Geodesic Domes and charming wooden glamping pods.
Located in the countryside village of Weeton, only four miles (a 10 minute drive) from the popular seaside resort of Blackpool, and 20 minutes away from the coastal gem of Lytham St Annes. Ream Hills is close enough to enjoy all the local activities on offer, yet tucked away just enough to relax into nature and enjoy the beautiful, serene surroundings.
Geodesic Domes
The comfortable and contemporary Geodesic Domes sit on platforms suspended over the lake, giving guests a spectacular experience of the water, green field sand woodlands beyond. Minimal and stylish, yet fun and cosy, guests will love settling down on large comfy sofas to enjoy the lovely views from under the comfort of the fabric ceiling. A fun swing chair also sits among pretty lighting constellations which are suspended from the ceiling. There’s even a pull-down projector screen where guests can enjoy a movie night together in style.
Young children will love settling down to sleep in the hammock beds and will no doubt soon rock themselves to sleep while parents enjoy a glass of wine and a movie. There is small, handy sink for late night glasses of water and teeth cleaning. And when parents hit the hay, they can snuggle under crisp white sheets and cosy duvets to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.
The domes are fully centrally heated and air-conditioned, therefore ideal throughout the entire year. They are self-catering and have a separate, private amenity building, housing a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and bathroom with shower just a short stroll – a few metres – away. The private amenity is exclusive to each dome and has all the modern conveniences and is stylishly simple with neutral colours and wooden floors. There is a dining table where guests can enjoy hearty breakfasts and plan the day ahead.
Glamping Pods
The charming, handmade wooden glamping pods at Ream Hills make camping a possibility all year round. Enjoy the great outdoors without the hours of planning or the tedious task of erecting and packing away soggy tents and equipment! The glamping pods are ideal for short breaks, with two sizes to choose from – sleeping either four or six guests. With underfloor heating keeping the pod cosy all year, a small kitchen area and flat screen TVs, everyone can enjoy the experience of camping with a few of life’s usual luxuries.
The outdoor decking area with picnic bench is the perfect spot to enjoy al fresco dining and soak up the sun. Cosy up with family and friends and watch the sun set before the night fills with stars. A magical and secluded countryside location, perfect for creating special memories.
Each pod has exclusive access to its own private WC and shower facility only a stone’s throw away.
