This event pays tribute to the anniversary of the D-Day landings in World War II with a special commemoration including a war re-enactment set in the grounds of St James' Church, which also features an impressive lone piper performance.
1940s singers bring entertainment to this lovely place to sit, and there will be an interesting demonstration from a bomb disarmament specialist. Visitors are encouraged to dress in 1940s style clothes.
There will also be a display of military vehicles, and plenty of photo opportunities.
The event takes place alongside the Accrington Food Festival, with 100 stalls, demonstrations, and plenty of venues for food and drink.
