By popular demand, the Towneley bonfire and fireworks display is back this year and it promises to be bigger and better than ever. Set in the grounds of Towneley Park and organised by the Council, in partnership with the Friends of Towneley Park and Brunshaw Action Group, the bonfire and fireworks display will be a family event with a funfair, bonfire and two fireworks displays, one for younger children at 17:30 and a main display at 20:30.
The funfair is being held on the Pavilion car park and the bonfire and fireworks displays are being held on the sports field at higher Towneley.
