A free and fun arts session for children of all ages where they can make their own lantern to join in Barnoldswick's annual "Switch On" parade!
The workshop will be run by Barnoldswick town council events team under the gazebo in the town square (weather permitting).
Basic materials will be provided. Please feel free to bring additional materials to adorn your lantern: Coloured tissue paper, bamboo gardening sticks . . .
You could let your creativity flow and upcycle some old household accessories: an old lampshade frame, umbrella or hula hoop! The possibilities are endless!
We do ask that children that need assistance with this activity attend with an adult who is able to help them.
There will be 3 sessions:
Tuesday 25th October - 12pm - 3pm
Wednesday 26th October - 6pm -8pm
Thursday 27th October - 12pm - 3pm
All scheduled events are free of charge and subject to change. Donations are welcome.
