Join writer Jo Manby for a creative workshop exploring the themes of for she is always creeping by Aideen Barry.
The day will begin with a guided tour of Aideen Barry's exhibition, thinking about how and why Barry uses the surreal in her art.
This will be followed by a workshop using a selection of objects from The Whitaker museum collection using the Aideen Barry exhibition and the museum objects to gather inspiration for creative possibilities in writing and drawing - ending up with a collage of drawings and Surrealist/Dadaist slogans to take home.
This workshop is suitable for creative people of all abilities. All materials will be provided.
