Most of us don't have paintings of our family members from 300 years ago as the Shuttleworth family of Gawthorpe Hall do. However, there is still lots we can find out about past family members with the resources available through Lancashire Archives and other places.
Come along to find out more about what is available and how to use them, whether you want to discover your family tree, the history of a building or a place the friendly staff from Lancashire Archives will show you how to get started.
Includes admission to the Hall and An Account of Life: Gawthorpe in the 1600s exhibition.
