EGGventure at Thornton Hall Country Park

This Easter is going to be very EGGciting at Thornton Hall Country Park and they cannot wait for you to join them on the EGGventure.  Lots of Easter fun for you on the farm and a free chocolate bar for every full-paying child*.  Hurry and book your tickets.

Embark on a tour of Bazil Beanz chocolate factory that will tantalize your tastebuds.  Help get production back on track in this 40 minute EGGventure, and you will receive your own chocolate bar to take home*.  *Free chocolate bar for every paying child.  A free timeslot for this experience must be booked in advance, there may be a short wait for this experience.

Please note: EGGventure is a walk-around experience, containing uneven surfaces, inclines, and declines which may be difficult for some pushchairs and wheelchairs.  Pushchairs are not permitted on the EGGventure and must be left at the entrance to the experience.  Special effects include: loud noises, theatrical smoke and smells and flashing lights.

Springtime Trail.  Keep your eyes peeled for all the hidden letters throughout the park to win a prize (redeemed at reception).  Easter Bunny meet and greets at intervals throughout the day.  Keep your eyes peeled for the Easter Bunny hopping about the park. Be sure to snap a photo and share on social media.

What's waiting for you?
Slides galore.  Zoom, glide, and whoosh your way through the exciting multi-level slides.  With a climbing volcano. baby and toddler area and role play shops.
Indoor fun for everyone.  Let the kids burn off energy while you kick back and relax (time slot required).
Meet friendly farm animals.  Say hello to friendly goats, fluffy rabbits, and more.  Perfect for little animal lovers.
For the grown-ups.  Sit back and unwind with a freshly brewed coffee and treat yourself to some of our delicious homemade food.  Whether it's a light bite or a hearty lunch, there's something for every taste.
Plan your visit.  Spend a full day on the farm (soft play at your bookable time slot).
Soft play times.  Book online.  Times: 10:00 -12:00, 12:15 – 14:15 and 14:30 – 16:30.  ​​​​​​Bank holiday weekend times (18 – 21 April) 10:00 - 11:30, 11:45 – 13:15, 13:30 – 15:00, 15:15 – 16:45.

The diner is located within the soft play area and serves a selection of delicious homemade burgers, pizzas, hotdogs, salads, and drinks.  The street food trailer is open in the Secret Garden.  The dessert pod is available in the main yard.  Picnics are allowed with outdoor tables available for visitors to use.  Picnics are not permitted in the diner.  Please be aware that there is no under cover eating area for picnics.  Allergens  are catered for, however please speak to a member of the team before ordering.
