Hauntings, Hangings & Horrid Happenings Tour

Whilst the nights are dark and the shadows long, join an evening walking tour of Lancaster, looking at the sinister side of the city's past, with tales of the ghoulish, the ghastly, the gloomy and the grim.

These tours, which conducted by an Institute of Tourist Guiding professional guide, depart from Lancaster Castle's main entrance, the John O'Gaunt Gatehouse.  Lasting around 90 minutes to two hours, depending on the size of the group, the tours conclude in Dalton Square on the opposite side of the city.

Due to the nature of some of the stories told, it is recommended that children under 16 years of age do not attend these tours.  Limited spaces.  Pre-booking is strongly recommended.

Lancaster Walks, Talks & Tours is a small company providing award winning bespoke guided walks, illustrated talks and themed tours, exploring the rich history of the north west of England.
