Lancaster's award-winning FREE Music Festival: Welcoming Walkable Wonderful is famous for reflecting the city of Lancaster’s vast musical abundance, excellence and diversity while bringing in top notch acts from around the UK and worldwide.
In 2019 the festival will feature around 50 venues, all easily walkable within the city, ranging from cafés and coffee shops, bookshops and banks and including the majority of the city's 30-odd wonderful pubs and bars. Our headline stage will be inside the courtyard of historic Lancaster Castle and there will be music and street theatre in the city's public squares and outdoor spaces.
With over 500 performances - the majority of them free - from more than 300 local, national and international artists plus street theatre and music workshops, we can promise there will be something for everyone.
We look forward to welcoming you but in the meantime make sure you follow us on social media to keep up-to-date with all our plans and artist announcements.
