Market Street Social

The whole ethos of our courtyard is to be a new creative and cultural space for Preston. Within these walls we are hosting a range of events. A weekly Makers Market at our Social Sundays, live music, DJ's, workshops and wellness classes, spoken word and literature events.

Market Street Social is from the team that have brought you Plau, The Continental and The Continental Beer & Plungington Gin Festivals. Gorgeous drinks, fresh summer food from the Plau Kitchen and an all round good vibe awaits.

Expect a whole range of events from Festivals, Yoga classes to Classical music recitals. There are indoor spaces to come to include a Cafe, Makers shop outlet and Beer & Wine Bottleshop. You can wander between here and Plau down the wiend that links the two together.

All this takes place behind Plau in a hidden Courtyard between Market Street West and Friargate, so follow the cobbles of Clayton’s Gate to a perfect setting where you can begin to socialise again. Welcome to the summer!
