Ormskirk Medieval Festival

Experience the sights, smells, sounds and tastes of West Lancashire 900 years ago, as living history reenactors Historia Normannis take you on a journey back through time.

Over the weekend, the park will host a variety of medieval-themed activities, with heroic battles, archery and cooking demonstrations of food prepared in traditional Norman ways.  Visitors can try on armour, take a closer look at the weapons and how they’re made or even try their hand at archery.  There will also be displays of crafts and other medieval-themed activities and stalls.

Hungry crowds will be able to enjoy a range of modern-day refreshments and activities, with donkey rides, face painting, children’s rides and a giant bouncy castle.
