If you and your little one(s) love all things ponies, this is the ultimate family day out at Thornton Hall Country Park this May. Join the Pony Weekend.
The Mini Pony Show:
The mini pony show has it all. Think fancy footwork, a hula hoop jumping pony, dog agility for ponies, a mathematician pony and a one man band pony. This show requires lots of audience participation. Are you ready for the Mini Pony Show. Stick around at the end of the show for a meet and greet opportunity. Shows at intervals during the day.
The Unicord and Fairy Sing-a-long show:
Join Fairy Rose and the Unicorn Princess in this 25 minute sing-a-long show featuring all your favourite songs. Shows at intervals during the day.
Equine Demonstration:
Witness the amazing abilities of the horses by the skilled riders and trainers in this live demonstration. Shows at intervals during the day.
Farrier Presentation:
Learn all about the skilled work a farrier undertakes in the live demonstrations throughout the day. At intervals during the day.
Hony Horse Racing:
Mount your (hobby) horse, tackle the jumps, and collect your carrots in this interactive activity. Get ready, set, go. At intervals during the day.
What else is included:
Full day entry into the farm park (10:00 – 16:30).
Farm tours and animal activities, including pony grooming, bottle feeding, and animal petting.
Indoor soft play area (book your selected time slot online).
Outdoor play.
Jumping pillows (weather permitting).
Rides (weather permitting /additional charge), including caterpillar ride, Farm Safari, pony rides and junior quads.
The Diner is located within the soft play area and serves a selection of delicious homemade burgers, pizzas, hot dogs, salads and drinks. The street food trailer is located by the Secret Garden, where hot food and drinks can be purchased (limited menu). The Dessert Pod and Secret Garden bar will be open during your visit at selected times
