Santa Special at Ribble Steam Railway

Festive fun for all the family.

That's right, Santa's back at Ribble and he can't wait to see you.  Snuggle up in a vintage carriage and watch little faces light up as Father Christmas comes through the train with gifts in tow.  Don't forget to bring your letters to post through the special Santa Mail post box.

This is a very popular event and sells out very quickly.  As such, you need to book this event in advance on the website if you would like to visit.

To make your experience the best it can be, it is important to read the following information:
If you require wheelchair access, please contact prior to making your booking.
Please arrive around 30 minutes before the departure time of your booked train to ensure that you have time to board comfortably.
Ensure you check in at the desk on arrival.
There are no working toilets on the train, so please make use of the facilities in the shop.  Baby changing also available. You will be on the train for around 40 mins.
Prams can be left inside the museum, at the top of the ramp, near the platform, as there is no storage room for them on the train.
If you need to know anything during your visit just ask on of the friendly members of staff who will be only too pleased to help you have a great day.
Although the railway normally welcome your four legged friends, as the Santa Specials are so busy and noisy, you are politely requested to leave your dogs at home on this occasion.  This is for the comfort of everyone, including your pets.
Etickets will be sent by email in early November.  Any postal tickets will be sent out by the middle of November. Please check your spam folder before calling, if you cannot locate them, as they often sneak in there.
