Police have been stumped by a mysterious and grisly find. Have you got what it takes to find and interpret the skeletal evidence to solve the mystery?
Join forensic anthropologists at UCLan for an interactive, immersive, one day workshop where your powers of deduction and reasoning will be put to the test.
The workshop is perfect for 15-18 year olds, but anyone with an interest in forensic anthropology, osteology, crime scene investigation and solving puzzles can come along.
The workshop will give attendees the tools to distinguish human from animal bone, perform basic skeletal analyses and build an osteological profile of remains, as well as interpret physical and circumstantial evidence to solve the case. Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance and goodie bag.
