The masquerade mask, a symbol of intrigue and elegance, originated in Venice and was traditionally worn to conceal identities at upper-class social events. Another traditional feature of the masquerade event was feasting.
This masquerade ball will be no exception. You'll dine on an indulgent three-course menu, served in the Lakeside Suite, which, too, will be dressed for the occasion and boast shimmering modern-day magic with a nod to the Renaissance style.
Once the feasting is done, you'll be entertained by some of the county's finest singers, no doubt future West End stars, before Mr James Cockerill keeps the party atmosphere alive and the dancefloor full, till late.
Take your fill and let the spectacle astound you.
