For the two new Whitaker commissions; The Old Entrance and The Banners, Tina Dempsey spent time exploring The Whitaker’s eclectic collections and the grounds in which it sits. The resulting installations are a museum within the museum. Groups of responsive drawings, collages and sculptures are intermingled with objects from both The Whitaker and the artists personal collections.
