Witchcraft 1612 Tour

How did a number of poor folk, living in the shadow of Pendle Hill in East Lancashire, end up incarcerated at Lancaster Castle and at the centre of one of England's most high profile witch trials?  Find out more on one of the Witchcraft 1612 guided walks.

These tours, which conducted by an Institute of Tourist Guiding professional guide, depart from Lancaster Castle's main entrance, the John O'Gaunt Gatehouse.  Lasting around 90 minutes to two hours, depending on the size of the group, the tours conclude on Moor Lane on the opposite side of the city.

Lancaster Walks, Talks & Tours are a small company providing bespoke guided walks, illustrated talks and themed tours, exploring the rich history of the north west of England.
