593 reviewsThe newly-refurbished Boot and Shoe finds its home among one of the North West’s most historical and thriving cities. Originally an old coaching inn, the pub has recently undergone an exciting major redevelopment, boasting a brand new and unique wood-fired pizza oven, outside bar and children’s play area. There is also a multi purpose function room that can hold events for up to 60 people which includes a dance floor, buffet and its own private bar area.
As well as our stunning pizzas, our traditional home-cooked menu uses only the finest locally sourced ingredients; from our classic beer-battered fish and chips to our delicious burgers, our extensive menu allows something for everyone. Our dishes can be paired perfectly with a great range of cask ales on offer.
However, if beer isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other drink options available including a variety of soft drinks, wines, cocktails and our very own gin bar!
We offer free WiFi, regular live sport and a dartboard to keep you entertained inside, while our large beer garden provides the perfect setting for alfresco dining and outdoor entertainment during the warmer summer months, not to mention an outdoor play area to keep the kids busy
