With our Georgian Drawing Room overlooking the romantic Dalton Square in historic Lancaster, The Borough is the perfect wedding venue for any special couple. Our welcoming staff will be by your side throughout the process to ensure everything goes according to plan on your special day.
The delicious menu and our attention to every detail make the Borough a unique wedding location. From your first enquiry through to the big day we’ll hold your hand every step of the way to ensure the perfect wedding.
Weddings at the Borough are small and quaint, set in a boutique style environment. The drawing room can comfortable accommodate 40 guests during the day for the wedding ceremony itself (The Borough was granted a wedding license in 2017) and a reception. In the evening, with a swift change of room layout you’ll have space for 60 guests.
Close by the happy couple will have every opportunity to capture stunning wedding pictures to remember the day by. The historic Dalton Square is right on our doorstep, whilst Lancaster Castle and Williamson’s Park are just minutes away. This makes the Borough the perfect location for a city centre wedding in Lancaster.
We’re passionate about assisting brides and grooms, and welcome enquiries from all regardless of religion, beliefs, sexual preference and race.
If you have any queries, feel free to call us on 01524 64170. Alternatively, you can email us: manager@theboroughlancaster.co.uk. Finally, if you are looking for a more rural wedding location then why not check out our sister venue The Lodge.
