Indie Explosion: The Story of Britpop is a nostalgic journey back to the golden age of 90's Britpop.
The show uniquely combines live concert performances with video documentary storytelling, focusing on the 'big four', The Stone Roses, Blur, Oasis, Pulp and others.
Performed by the UK's leading Britpop tribute band, Onside Britpop, the band faithfully recreate these legendary bands' sounds and looks, interspersed with exclusive documentary clips that dive into each band's cultural impact.
The second half of the show is a full-on Britpop gig, featuring anthems and fan favourites from James, The Verve, Ocean Colour Scene, The Happy Mondays and many more. This part of the show is designed to get everyone on their feet and dancing. It hasn't failed yet.
This show is a must for any Britpop fan of the 90s, as well as younger generations who discover this iconic music with their parents. This is more than another tribute gig; the well-crafted production immerses the audience in the nostalgia of 90's Britpop, blending live music with cultural storytelling to create a truly memorable experience.
