This weekend Visit Lancashire will be attending the National Festival of Making in Blackburn, where will be showcasing a range of delicious food and drink providers in our Taste Lancashire tent.

With the Euros just around the corner, it's the perfect time to dive into Lancashire’s amazing football heritage. Here in Lancashire, football isn’t just a game—it’s a beloved tradition that brings people together, creating a sense of community and joy.

It’s Pride Month, and as a county, Lancashire is ready to celebrate.

Pride Month takes place each June due to the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots which took place in New York, 55 years ago. The events and parades that take place to celebrate Pride are open to all LGBTQ+ community members and their allies as a celebration of love, acceptance and solidarity.

One thing Lancashire is well known for is its historic houses, with castles, manor houses and stately homes now open to the public as wedding venues, restaurants, museums, art galleries and more.

With a massive 137 miles of coast to enjoy in Lancashire, it’s no wonder that so many people come to the region in search of some seaside fun.

There’s something wonderful about a trip to the beach in summer. Feeling the soft warm sand between your toes, the smell of the fresh sea air, and the taste of delicious ice cream, especially if you can bring your four-legged friend along too.

Although some of Lancashire’s beaches impose restrictions during the summer months, there are still plenty of great dog-friendly beaches waiting to be explored.
