Did you know that winter is the best time of year to really appreciate Lancashire’s starry skies? The longer nights allow for more opportunities to view constellations, and the colder air allows for better visibility.

It’s Pride Month, and as a county, Lancashire is ready to celebrate.

Pride Month takes place each June due to the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots which took place in New York, 55 years ago. The events and parades that take place to celebrate Pride are open to all LGBTQ+ community members and their allies as a celebration of love, acceptance and solidarity.

There’s lots of exciting events happening across the county this weekend, from free festivals to spectacular shows, there’s something to put a smile on everybody’s faces.
