Keep The Kids Busy This May Half Term

May half term is upon us. Luckily, there's lots going on across Lancashire throughout the holidays - Monday 29 May - 4 June 2018.

Book a last minute break at the award winning Ribby Hall Village. Ribby Hall Village is a Holiday Park with spacious and luxurious self-catering cottages, situated in more than 100 acres of stunning landscaped grounds.

Great Family Days Out

1. Bowland Wild Boar Park - Set in the heart of the Forest of Bowland, the park offers a brilliant and fun day out. Enjoy a picnic or go for a ramble around the footpaths of the park whilst viewing wild boars, llamas, wallabys, red squirrels, pet lambs and many more animals.

2. The Atkinson, Southport -  Throughout the holidays, the theatre and museum has so much going on. CBeebies Sarah and Duck are paying will be paying them a visit (1 June) as well as Mr Toad form Wind in The Willows (29 May). There will also be loads of interactive fun in the museum plus find out how the Vikings really lived, in their exhibition, Viking: Rediscover the Legend with star objects from the British Museum and Yorkshire museum alongside finds from North West metal detectorists.

3. World Horse Welfare Penny Farm, near Blackpool - the horse rescue & rehabilitation centre welcome visitors 3 days a week (Weds, Sat & Sun). Meet their ponies, walk around their fields and paddocks and enjoy their activity trail around the farm. Admission is free and offers free parking.

4. Funtazia Soft Play, Blackburn - If the weather decides to stop being kind to us or you fancy an escape from the sunshine head to Blackburn where you will find the largest soft play centre in Lancashire.
