Word fest.

The first Word Fest. is coming to Blackpool. The Literature Festival of the North is being co-produced by the Winter Gardens team and local independent bookstore Book Bean & Ice Cream and will see celebrated authors visit the Winter Gardens this autumn in a literary celebration.

Authors included in the lineup include, Sir Michael Morpurgo OBE, acclaimed storyteller and writer of War Horse. Sir Michael Morpurgo OBE will be joined by Sunday Times bestselling author Milly Johnson, Devil Dogs author Saul David and husband of much-loved English actress Dame Barbara Windsor, Scott Mitchell.
