December is here and there's lots of exciting events happening across the county perfect to get you in the festive spirit.
Festive more than a market: West End, Morecambe
The Creative West End team of local artists and community members have organised a great day out, with a selection of local artisan market traders, food and drink and hand-crafted goods. There will be live music, creative workshops, dance performances and a food and drink zone, giving the event a feel of a mini winter festival, with More Music's famous Lantern Festival part of Saturday afternoon's proceedings.
Winterfest at The Whitaker
Join us for our winter markets this December. We have everything to get you in the mood for a magical Christmas. There will be a variety of food and craft stalls, music, bands, carols, mulled wine and festive foods. We are also excited to welcome some special visitors from the North Pole to meet the children in our museum
A Thornton Hall Christmas Adventure
Take a sleigh ride to Thornton Hall Country Park to experience the award-winning Christmas Adventure. Visitors will join their Elf to meet brand new characters, watch live shows as well as a magical reindeer ride, before visiting the man in red himself – Father Christmas. Festival de Noel
Festival de Noël pops up within the magnificent setting of Waddow Hall. Greetings from Christmas characters, magic shows, seasonal crafts to make and take plus live music throughout each day will ensure there is something for the whole family to enjoy at this yuletide festival. Expect an eclectic mix of vintage wares, handmade crafts, art and quirkiness from some of the finest makers, creators and collectors in the land, all with a festive twist of course! It is the ultimate gift buying experience for you and your friends and will be laden with gorgeous handmade gifts, trinkets, treasures and treats, plus culinary eats, warming cocktails and lots of merriment.
Lionel Vinyl’s Festive Funk Christmas Party Nights

We've got Christmas all wrapped up at Affinity Lancashire! Meet the Grinch on Saturday 3rd and Saturday 17th December as he spreads his Christmas cheer throughout the centre with appearances between 12 and 4pm!
Santa’s Magical Grotto
We've got Christmas all wrapped up at Affinity Lancashire in Fleetwood.
Visit Santa in his magical grotto for free every weekend in December between 11am and 4pm and then daily from Monday 19th December between 11am and 4pm. You can even see him on Christmas Eve between 10am and 1pm, before he starts his present deliveries.

Wakey wakey….don't miss the spellbinding tale of Sleeping Beauty. A beautiful Princess pricks her finger on a spindle wheel which has been cursed by the evil Carabosse at her 18th Birthday party.
