Vintage by the Sea
Each September the Morecambe seafront provides a stunning backdrop for a programme of art and culture inspired by decades reaching 20s to the 90s! 2023 marks a decade since the first Vintage by the Sea in Morecambe and you can expect an exceptional line up of performance, music, dance, classic cars, vintage and design marketplaces, DJ sets, Best in Show fashion parades, workshops and street food.
Blackpool Illuminations
The world-famous Illuminations are back this weekend, and they need little introduction. With six miles of traditional festoons, tableaux and interactive features along the Promenade, no wonder it’s commonly known as the greatest free light show on Earth!
The British Country Music Festival
The British Country Music Festival 2023 is back for its fourth edition. The festival celebrates singer-songwriters from the UK and Ireland who are pushing the boundaries of Americana and Country Music. Over 100 artists, four Indoor stages, including the iconic Empress Ballroom.
Free tours at Samlesbury Hall
We are delighted to offer free guided tours, on Sundays at 11am and 2pm. These will give you an insight into the fascinating, educational, and often bloody history of Samlesbury Hall, for grown-ups and children alike.
Lancashire Hawks and Owls at Affinity Lancashire
We're so excited that Lancashire Hawks and Owls will be at Affinity Lancashire this weekend. Join them between 10am and 3.30pm to meet their amazing birds - and you can meet the handlers too! There'll even be some photo opportunities...
Family Fun day at HAPPA
HAPPA (Horses and Ponies Protection Association) are inviting you to join them for a family themed fun day at Shores Hey Farm in Burnley this weekend. Families can enjoy glitter tattoos, face painting, a bouncy- castle, test your strength game, tombola, hook-a duck and a raffle.
