St Annes Kite Festival

The 2023 St Anne’s Kite Festival returns this weekend. The skies above St Anne’s seafront will be awash with colour on Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday as fabulous display kites take to the air on the beach adjacent to the pier.

There is a planned illuminated kite flying evening on Friday 8th September. There will be a fairground on the beach, a stage for music and entertainment and additional stalls on the Promenade, so if you’re looking for refreshments you are very much encouraged to visit the town centre as well or bring your own picnic.

Fylde Coast Food and drink festival 2023

A fantastic, food-filled day out with delicious local food and drinks for all the family to enjoy! Blackpool Illuminations

The world-famous Illuminations are back and they need little introduction. With six miles of traditional festoons, tableaux and interactive features along the Promenade, no wonder it’s commonly known as the greatest free light show on Earth! Blackpool’s annual Illuminations display will once again be extended by two months, shining nightly from September 1, 2023 to January 1, 2024.
