Chorley Flower Show returns to Astley Park on Friday 26 to Sunday 28 July, bigger and better than ever with brand new attractions and activities fresh for 2024.

Across the fantastic three-days, visitors can expect a raft of activities and entertainment for all the family.

A Family and Children’s Zone will be in place to enjoy craft sessions, an outdoor theatre will be showing family favourites, and a Chill Out Zone will be available for those who fancy somewhere to sit and relax for a while away from busy areas of the Flower Show.

All Chorley Flower Show tickets will provide entry into the fabulous Astley Hall in celebration of its 100^th year anniversary, and sports fans will still be able to enjoy all the highlights of the 2024 Olympics in our special viewing area with Pimm’s Garden.

Pet lovers can enjoy the show with their four-legged friend at the dedicated Pup Up Café where pampered pooches can enjoy a range of activities!

Event Highlights include:

           

• Pup Up events, A brand new attraction for dog lovers who want their four-legged friend to enjoy the Flower Show. Pup Up events will be on hand with a wealth of fun activities, an agility course and you will be able to have your photograph taken as you and your beloved pooch enjoy a puppachino!
• Lawn Games Galore: Challenge friends and family to larger-than-life versions of classic games like giant Jenga and Connect Four. The lush lawns of Astley Hall provide the ideal setting for a spot of friendly competition.
• Children’s Craft Activities: Little ones can unleash their creativity with hands-on craft sessions. From making seed bombs to creating hand puppets, there’s something for every budding artist.
• Adult Relaxing Craft Sessions: Need a break from the hustle and bustle? Join our relaxing craft sessions where adults can unwind while creating beautiful Jesmonite plant pots or learn how to paint botanical illustrations.
• Access to Astley Hall, this year, tickets include access to the historic hall where you can enjoy the splendour of this Grade I listed building.
• The Cafe Society Jazz Band: Get your toes tapping to the sounds of Dixieland Jazz as The Cafe Society Jazz Band take to the stage. Their melodic tunes will create the perfect ambiance amidst the blooming flowers.
• Roaming performances: Performance art in abundance as a mesmerizing bubble artist weaves their way through the crowds creating magic with iridescent bubbles. It’s a visual treat for all ages.
• Outdoor Theatre:  Roald Dahl’s beloved tale “The BFG” comes to life on stage where you can follow Sophie and the Big Friendly Giant on their magical adventures.

All this set amongst the splendour of Astley Hall a historic mansion set in picturesque gardens creating a fantastic backdrop for the Flower Show. The rich heritage and stunning architecture make it the perfect venue for the annual floral celebration.
