Discover what’s in Angelica Sprocket’s pink pockets as the much-loved children character is brought to life in an outdoor theatre performance at Brockholes.
Folksy Theatre will take audience members on a journey through the quirky contents of Angelica’s coat, during this charming children’s tale, written by former Children’s Laureate Sir Quentin Blake.
The show offers poetry and puppetry, wonder and whimsy and fun for all the family, this Sunday August 25 at the Preston nature reserve.
Expect colourful characters and strange surprises, suitable for all ages, seven and upwards. What better way to spend a Sunday evening with the family this bank holiday weekend?
Families are encouraged to bring their own chairs and comforts such as blankets, along with a picnic. Refreshments are available before, during and after the performance.
The Visitor Village is available to set up chairs from 4pm, with a starting time of 5pm. The show will run for one hour until 6pm.

Tickets are priced at £14.50 for adults (over 16), and £10.50 for children (under 16). There is a family ticket available for two adults and two children at £45.00. Car parking is included with ticket.
The event will go ahead rain or shine, so attendees are encouraged to be prepared for the British weather!
