#AmazingAccrington are bringing back their extremely popular Halloween Shop Trail for children under 12 throughout the centre of Accrington, sponsored by local training provider North Lancs Training Group and Hyndburn Borough Council.
The event will run over the half term holidays, from Monday 21st October to Halloween itself, Thursday 31st October. Leaflets are going out to local schools and will be available in participating outlets, including 2 Sisters Cafe, the NLTG office at 1 Oak Street, Barbara Kay's, and the OASST Accrington Stanley shop in the Arndale Centre, plus many more.
Prizes include a £50 gift voucher, a sweet hamper, and everyone's favourite - tickets to an Accrington Stanley match! Children are encouraged to dress up, and trick or treat along the way while getting ten stamps from participating shops. The completed forms should then be dropped the OASST Accrington Stanley shop in the Arndale Centre by the end of Halloween for the lucky winners to be selected.
This is the third year in a row that #AmazingAccrington have organised the Halloween Shop Trail, with hundreds of children taking part in 2023.
Gareth Lindsay, Managing Director of NLTG, said: "NLTG are really proud to sponsor the Halloween Trail, and love to see the children dressing up, and out and about in Accrington town centre! We love getting involved in community events and look forward to seeing the children enjoy this year's Halloween Competition."
Cllr Kimberley Whitehead of Hyndburn Borough Council, said: "This is a really fun, free activity for local schoolchildren and their parents over Halloween. It is also a fantastic way to encourage people to #ShopLocal, come into town and promote our wonderful local businesses."
Murray Dawson, Chair of #AmazingAccrington, commented: "The Halloween Shop Trail was very successful last year and we would like to say a big thank you to North Lancs Training Group and Hyndburn Borough Council for supporting the event again in 2024. We would like to see people shopping locally and the competition driving footfall into Accrington."

Gjack According to the article, it's just an incredible store. But what is missing there are capsules, which is really a pity. I’ve been looking into empty capsules for a while now, but I’m finding it hard to choose between all the different types available. It can be overwhelming with so many capsule types, but if you're looking for a trusted source that specializes in empty capsules, I highly recommend checking out Pure Capsules. You can explore their offerings here: https://purecapsules.co.uk, which makes it easier to choose a reliable capsule for your supplements.
