It’s been just over a month since MasterChef Professional Matt Willigg opened the doors of OH! Pizza in Longridge, and the buzz is undeniable. The restaurant, which fuses vibrant street food-inspired small plates with authentic Neapolitan-style pizza, has quickly captured the hearts (and taste buds) of the local community.
Since its opening, OH! Pizza has seen remarkable success and enthusiastic feedback, with diners praising the restaurant’s welcoming ambiance, inventive menu, and dedication to quality. Willigg has created an experience that combines casual dining with expertly crafted dishes, using locally sourced ingredients. OH! Pizza's freshly prepared small plates and signature wood-fired pizzas have drawn some fantastic feedback.
Reflecting on the success of OH! Pizza’s first month, Matt shares, “The support we’ve received has been incredible. The brand’s events arm, which caters to private gatherings and events across the region, has also seen steady growth, allowing OH! Pizza to expand its reach and introduce its offerings to new audiences. Guests at events have embraced OH! Pizza’s fun, shareable approach, making it a hit for private parties and celebrations.
Matt, originally from Lichfield and a former chef under Angela Hartnett at her Michelin-starred restaurant Murano, is eager to build on OH! Pizza’s success in Longridge. Looking ahead, he envisions expanding the brand to new locations, including one near his hometown where his passion for pizza first took root.
OH! Pizza continues to thrive, with Willigg’s sights set on future growth while he stays dedicated to making OH! Pizza a beloved fixture in Longridge and beyond.
