It wouldn’t be Christmas without an unforgettable trip to this year’s fabulous, family pantomime at The Grand. This captivating tale of magic, mayhem and misunderstandings stars TV sensation Hayley Tamaddon (Dancing on Ice, Emmerdale) and stand-up comedy star Steve Royle and will be a laugh-a-minute extravaganza with stunning sets, top musical hits, amazing costumes and exciting special effects to keep audiences both young and old entertained. Cinderella would love to go to the ball, but the Ugly Sisters have other ideas and wickedly tear up her invitation. Strawberry Jack: A Tale from Paradise Heights – Saturday 7 December & Sunday 8 December at 7.30pm in The STUDIO

Catch the latest gripping instalment of the terrifying Tales from Paradise Heights series from the award-winning writer/director Joe O’Byrne. A childhood accident left Strawberry Jack Grundy horrifically scarred – a wild child that grew into a ferocious man.  Once the war horse of Paradise Heights, recent events have stacked the deck firmly against One-Eyed Jack, doorman of The Ace of Spades nightclub. He blames himself for the death of Corny McGeehan and he’s worried about his stepfather, Mel, who says they are being visited regularly by an angel, an angel named Shirley - an apparition encountered by others on the streets of Paradise Heights. I’m Frank Morgan – Rewired: A Tale from Paradise Heights - Saturday 14 December & Sunday 15 December at 7.30pm in The STUDIO

Another exciting instalment from the popular Paradise Heights series from writer/director Joe O’Byrne. Frank’s a hard man in a dirty old town.  Loan shark, poker player, owner of The Ace of Spades in Paradise Heights.  But a new threat has risen, an immigrant crime wave has threatened his position at the top of the hill. Frank’s never been one to walk away from a fight but tonight he’s walled up inside his club, and you are trapped in there with him as the ghosts and the demons are queuing up to take him down. Grand Christmas Concert – Monday 16 December at 8pm

Mix with the top brass as Poulton-le-Fylde Brass Band brings joy and song to all hosted by top radio DJ and popular local celebrity Hayley Kay. The much-loved local voice of BBC Radio Lancashire and Blackpool’s Coastal Radio will help celebrate the season of goodwill in annual rousing style and it’s sure to be a fabulous festive treat for all the family! This year’s Christmas Concert will take place just 11 days before the Big Day, making it the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time with friends or family, all in the beautiful surroundings of the glorious Grade II* listed Grand Theatre. Theatre Heritage Tour Backstage Secrets – Thursday 19 December at 10.30am

Take an in-depth look at the dazzling delights of this much-loved local treasure and Frank Matcham’s masterpiece. Discover the backstage workings of the theatre including the Stalls, Dress Circle, Walkway, Royal Box, Stage Door, Fly Floor, Gallery, Dressing Rooms, Matcham Court and, of course, the Stage.

Revel in the stunning scenery in the theatre’s spectacular auditorium and more, then relax and discuss your intriguing findings over delicious cake and tea in our magnificent Dress Circle bar following the 90-minute tour. Tickets £20. Recommended for ages 6+ Involves stairs.
