In the heart of historic Lancaster, The Toll House Inn is an ideal location for exploring the city on foot or heading out to the coast and countryside. Originally the site of the old Toll House at the gateway to the city, the imposing Victorian listed building has a wealth of architectural features inside- all of which have been retained as part of major re-development in 2007.
Guest rooms are contemporary and stylish - with high ceilings and many original features - there's even a listed wardrobe in one of the rooms. With air-conditioning, colour TV, tea & coffee trays and comfy beds you'll find all you need whether travelling on business or pleasure.
The restaurant and bar is open all day from early till late - serving high quality, home-cooked food made from the finest local produce, Thwaites traditional cask ales and probably the largest selection of quality wines by the glass in the city!
Food is sourced locally wherever possible, and the team showcase the best of each season in the menu. The Toll House Inn is a destination for all and all occasions. Enjoy drinks and nibbles with friends or a celebratory Sunday dinner with family. There's free Wi-Fi throughout the ground floor and in guest rooms too.
