World Horse Welfare Penny Farm, near Blackpool 
Penny Farm is home to over 60 horses at any one time. Walk around the undercover barn and find out about the ponies undergoing rehabilitation or take a walk around farm using a family friendly activity trail. Volunteer led guided tours are also available. 

HAPPA Shores Hey Farm, Briercliffe 
At HAPPA, you can expect a fun-filled day out for all ages. Experience the joy of horse and pony therapy by meeting with the resident equine, learning their stories and personalities and have the opportunity to get up close and personal. 

Blackpool Zoo

See nature at its wildest, as Lancashire has a variety of reserves which attract hundreds of species of native and migrating birds, making it the ideal destination for a spot of bird watching, walks in the countryside as well as the opportunity to see wildlife in its natural habitat.
